I'm having fun with my subject matter choices lately. For instance the Dartmoor series I'm doing enabled me to get out of the house and visit beautiful locations whereas this painting takes me back to when I enjoyed creating imaginary battles (I did some illustrations for White Dwarf magazine, part of the Warhammer stable, some years ago). There's no environmental symbolism involved, however, I have focussed on the destruction in the foreground rather than the fighting.
